What is Picasso and Vino?
It's an evening or afternoon out in a relaxed social setting. It's a great date night, time out with friends or family, or an opportunity to meet new people.
Our artists will guide you step by step through the featured painting. Explore your creative side and go home with a painting that is uniquely yours.
Do I need to sign up in advance?
There is limited seating and supplies to prepare so signing up in advance is required. Reserving online is ideal but if you prefer, call to reserve your space at 970-335-9042. We do accept walk ins if space is available.
How long is a Picasso and Vino class?
Painting parties are typically 2 hours long with with at least one entertaining break. There are a few more advanced classes at 3 hours and those time frames are indicated on the calendar.
Where are the painting parties held?
Classes are held at our studio located at:
450 Lewis St A1 (one block over from Main)
Pagosa Springs, CO 81147
What do I wear?
We suggest you wear clothing that you wouldn't mind getting paint on. Dress comfortably. We provide smocks.
What time do I need to arrive for a painting party?
Try to arrive 20-30 minutes before the start of class so you can get settled in, order drinks & snacks. We like to start painting right at the class start time.
Do I need to bring my own painting supplies?
No, Picasso and Vino provides all of the acrylic paints, brushes, canvas, smocks, palettes, water jars and easels.
Are children welcome?
Picasso and Vino is geared to adults having a relaxing time out. Children age 9 and up are welcome when accompanied by an adult to general public painting parties.
We do allow younger children at private parties.
Can I bring food or snacks?
Picasso & Vino offers a selection of light snacks & appetizers as well as beer and wine for purchase.
Arrangements can be made for catering & special items for private parties.
Do I need any artistic experience?
No experience required. Our paintings are designed to be very easy and our artists love giving personal attention if desired. It is our priority to ensure that you walk out with something you had fun creating.
Do I have to paint the featured painting?
We encourage our painters to do what makes them happy, even changing up colors if desired. If you want to go off on your own tangent, that is perfectly fine. After all, it's your painting! However, the instructor will be teaching the featured painting and will assist you as time allows.
What is your cancellation policy?
We ask for 24 hours notice if you need to cancel for a general public class. Please call us at 970-335-9042 to cancel your reservation. We will charge the class fee for reservations not cancelled within 24 hours notice.
Private parties require a 2 week cancellation notice as we have already blocked the date and booked the instructor.
If I come with a group can we sit together?
We will automatically seat you together based on the number of seats on your reservation. If you've booked separately from someone you'd like to sit with, please call or email us in advance so we can seat your party together.
